Entrance
Workhome entrances often correlate in scale to their dominant function. 'Home-dominated' will often have a domestic-scale front door, 'work-dominated' a non-domestic scale door, and 'equal status' a combination of some sort.
Workhomes also often combine functions with contrasting spatial requirements. An idiosyncratic architecture emerges, combining domestic and non-domestic scale volumes and elements in a single building, as in Zomerdijkstraat-Atelierwoningen.
