This is a database of workhome precedents. It is a work in progress: the Workhome Project has thousands more buildings that will be loaded over the coming months. Over time each record will be expanded to include more images and text.

We invite you to send us workhomes to add to this resource, historic or contemporary and from anywhere in the world. Please email us here: workhome@londonmet.ac.uk.

You are encouraged to browse. The list can be sorted by name of building, date, location and architect. It can also be filtered according to the three principles we think may be most useful, 'type of workplace', 'spatial strategy' and 'dominant function'.
